A Beautiful Weekend

I had a great weekend! Went to NY on friday night and came back yesterday evening. It was nice seeing my family and just being in the place where I was raised....I haven't been home in a while so it was definately needed, there is NO place like home! Surprised my daddy, he didn't know I was coming home and he was sooooooo happy to see me, what a wonderful feeling! My baby, 2 of his friends and I went for one of his classmate's wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding! Everything was on point, the bride is beautiful...her wedding colors were yellow and green and everything just matched perfectly...the aso ebi was green, decor was green and yellow, both families wore the same thing.....it was great! Can't wait for my wedding day, I'm hoping I get that ring sometime soon....I've being dreaming of getting engaged all year, I'm addicted to wedding websites and my baby is gonna be his friend's best man in a few months...so yea, I guess our time will soon come...AMEN!

We should always be thankful for what we have, I woke up this morning mumbling to myself about not wanting to go to work (while millions of people wished they had a job) and then I finally got outta bed, took a shower, got dressed and headed to work...or so I thought. I proceeded to walk towards my car, but its NOWHERE to be found! I just feel like crap because I always complain about how I don't like the car and how its ugly, old, and dirty. Now here I am calling the police department and waiting for my rental office to open in a hour and a half... to figure out where it could be since I was away for the weekend. I don't know my license plate number nor my VIN number so the police prettymuch can't tell me if it's been impounded...This has taught me a lesson...the job that I complain about pays my bills and takes care of my basic needs, but without my ugly, old, and dirty car I can't get to work!!!! Oh Lord forgive me for being ungrateful!!!
